Alejandra Coronel ha estado sirviendo a las comunidades de habla Hispana e Inglésa, atraves de traducciones, interpretación y servicios de entrenamiento por más de una década. Habla y escribe con fluidez Español e Inglés.
Nacio en Caracas, Venezuela, Alejandra se mudo a los Estados Unidos en 1998 donde estudio en Parkland College y the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Durante sus estudios Universitarios , Alejandra trabajo como un Abogador Educacional para el Illinois Migrant Counsel, ayudando a las familias migrantes y sus hijos adaptarse a su nueva comunidad a través de la alfabetización, búsqueda de empleo, recursos comunitarios, y apoyo emocional. Como un Defendor de las Familia en el Champaign County Regional Planning Commission con el programa de Head Start, Alejandra asistia a familias de bajos ingresos de todos los orígenes para que estas desarrollaran sus metas y los entrenó en el proceso de logro para obtener buena salud, logros financieros, y metas educativas.

Ella se especializa en servir entidades gubernamentales, servicios sociales, organizaciones sin fines de lucro, instituciones educativas, policía, leyes, empresas, entidades medicas, e individuos.
En adición de traducciones básicas, interpretación, y servicios de entrenamiento, Alejandra ofrece una perspectiva abierta acerca de servicios específicos en diferentes sectores de nuestra sociedad, tales como ayudar a los hospitales a traducir documentos, asistir clientes en la corte o instituciones legales con sus servicios de interpretación y proveyendo entrenamientos a constructores, restaurantes, industria en general y negocios.
Aparte de su rol en Los Servicios Bilingües Coronel, Alejandra es un miembro activo en la comunidad, sirviendo como miembro en juntas directivas que se enfocan en el Cuidado de Salud y los Derechos de los Latinos. Ella se gano el premio Humanitario de Susan Freiburg en 2007. En su tiempo libre ella es una esgrimista.

ABOUT ME
Coronel Bilingual Services
Alejandra Coronel has been serving the Spanish- and English-speaking communities with translation, interpretation, and training services for over a decade. She is fluent in written and oral Spanish and English languages.
Born in Caracas, Venezuela, Alejandra moved to the United States in 1998 where she attended Parkland College and the University of Illinois. During school, Alejandra served as Education Advocate for the Illinois Migrant Counsel, assisting migrant families and their children in adapting to their new community through literacy, job placement, community resources, and emotional support. As Family Advocate for the Champaign County Regional Planning Commission’s Head Start program, Alejandra assisted low-income families of all backgrounds with skills for developing goals and coached them through the process of achieving health, financial, and educational goals.

Today through Coronel Bilingual Services, Alejandra offers a wide array of translation, interpretation, advocacy, and training services for English- and Spanish-speakers. She specializes in custom services for government entities, social service and non-profit organizations, educational institutions, legal and law enforcement units, businesses, health care entities, and individuals.
In addition to basic translation, interpretation, and training services, Alejandra offers a myriad of sector-specific services such as helping hospitals with medical document translation to assisting court and legal institutions with interpretation services to providing custom trainings for construction and restaurant industry workers.
In addition to her role with Coronel Bilingual Services, Alejandra is an active member of the community, serving on boards that focus on health care and Latino rights. She was the recipient of the Susan Freiburg Humanitarian Award in 2007. In her free time, Alejandra is an avid fencer.
